Rasika Dayananda

A Fellow of CPA with several decades of Australian and international business advisory experience, who can offer a broad range of expertise to any type of business organisation in Australia. Rasika specialises in helping tech and other start-ups including inbound foreign businesses intending to first establish a foothold, and then expand, in Australia. He is competent in all areas of tax, including international tax, business consulting, corporations’ law, laws affecting superannuation funds, and other areas of compliance matters that commonly apply to Australian businesses. Rasika’s experience includes 15 years of work as a partner in a Sydney-based mid-tier accounting practice and a similar period at PWC and legacy firms in Asia, Africa, and the Pacific. He has served many multinational companies (MNCs) such as Rio Tito, China Complant, China Civil Engineering and Construction, and COSCO Shipping Lines. etc. His Australian work experience includes providing taxation services to high wealth groups, Sydney-based large property conglomerates, hospitality groups, ASX and NSX listed Companies, and financial services licensees. In addition, Rasika is an SMSF tax specialist, a certified business valuer, a forensic accountant, and the CEO of Australian Accountants.

Dr. Maheswaran Sridaran

A chartered accountant and a lawyer with several decades of working experience in Asia, the Pacific, and (for the last 24 years) in Australia, who can offer a broad range of expertise to small or medium-size businesses. Sridaran holds a PhD in Australian tax law and a LLB from Macquarie University, and a master of taxation degree from the University of New South Wales. For nearly three years (until the beginning of 2010), Sridaran was a full-time academic at Macquarie University, where he taught final-year undergraduate students Australian tax law, corporations law, and business law. During that time, latterly he served as the joint-convener of the Australian tax law course. Before his immigration to Australia, Sridaran worked in senior positions (including as head of a national tax practice) for a legacy firm of PwC, and Ernst & Young in four countries: Sri Lanka, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, and New Zealand. Sridaran serves Australian Accountants in the capacity of a senior consultant.
